I've read and enjoyed many of her books, especially "The Estate" series. I was introduced to the author around 2015/2016. I think I most enjoyed her earlier work. The last few books have been disappointing for me, but because of the initial connection to her earlier writings, I've kept trying, but going forward, I will proceed with caution. I did not like this one at all. It was just kinda silly and unbelievable. The funny thing with fiction is that even though we know it's not true, it still has to be believable. The book was just “eehhhh”. Not a fan. It only took me a few hours to read it. In my opinion, it was not suspenseful. It sounds like there is going to be another book after this one. It’s a fast read if you have time on your hands. There were some confusing parts about what really happened to the brother and by who. No spoiler alerts.
